On the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August 2024, Rotary Club of Mahad and Nouryon Chemicals India Pvt. Limited Company, a program was inaugurated to train 30 needy women and girls of Taliye village in Mahad taluka with a six-month full course in sewing clothes using sewing machines. On this occasion, the work of training all these poor and needy women and girls will be done through Mrs. Chile Madam. As this village was damaged due to heavy rain on 22nd July 2021, the village has been rehabilitated through the government system. In order to empower women in the village to stand on their own feet (Empowers women through skill development with tailoring courses by Nouryon Co pvt. Ltd), Nouryon company took a spontaneous initiative to provide them with proper training in sewing machines, and all the expenses incurred for this purpose are provided by the company itself from its CSR fund. In collaboration with the club, the six-month course will be conducted till completion. This program was planned in Gram Panchayat Hall of Taliye village. Safety Manager Sanjay Salunkhe, Sunil Sankpal of Production Department, Mrs. of HR Administration on behalf of Newrian Company. Ashwini Yogi Madam and O.H.C Assistant Mrs. Saili Mahadik were present. To make this program successful, Rotary Club President Arun Gawde and IPP Annaray Sheelavant and former AG Suryakant Mahadik Saheb had been going to the company for the last six months and trying for this project and today on the occasion of Independence Day, this program was successful.
