On 21/9/2024 Rotary Club of New Kalyan, Rotary Club of Roha and Rotary Club of Mahad organized a free distribution of artificial feet and calipers project (measurement) today in the morning at Mahatma Memorial Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk. The program was started at 10 o'clock. At this time, the lamp was lit and everyone was welcomed. The program was moderated by Rtn Shri Gurav . On this occasion, Past President Rtn Dr. Chetan Surve expressed his condolences and President Rtn Arun Gawde also expressed his condolences and all the patients and their relatives who were initiated in the program were given tea and coffee breakfast. Rtn Shri Maske and Rtn Pradeep Chavan from Rotary Club of Roha were present for this event. He was also welcomed. Also two technicians from New Rotary Club Kalyan were welcomed. A total of 26 beneficiaries have been made available for this project and all of them will be allotted free foundation after fifteen days. This program was conducted very happily. Many members of the Rotary Club were present on this occasion and the project chairman of our current project Rtn Shankar Awte was also present. On 05/10/2024 We are glad to share with you that Rotary Club of Mahad along with Rotary Club of Roha,Rotary Club of New Kalyan and ATOS Ltd organised free distribution of Jaipur foot to needy Handicapped people. Measurements of around 26 beneficiaries were taken earlier, and today we had organised a camp to distribute those Jaipur Foot to the beneficiaries. We were blessed with the presence of Dr. Shrikant Ranade our ex-member as chief guest for today’s programme, in his speech, he shared an amazing trivia about why these legs are called Jaipur foot. He Appreciated the work, Rotary club of Mahad conducts and also extended his willingness to participate in future projects, All the beneficiaries had a smile on their face and were very satisfied with the quality of the product. Moments like these make us feel proud to be part of Rotary.
