On 6/9/2024, Rotary Club of Mahad organized a free vehicle checkup camp for four wheeler and two wheeler vehicles going to Konkan on the occasion of Ganapati festival. The Rotary Club of Mahad organized free services like checking the air in the tire, checking the engine oil, checking the car's wafer and checking the light of the vehicle at two places on the Mumbai Goa highway. Gauri Ganapati festival is a very important festival in Konkan. Ganesh bhakt of Mumbai go to their respective villages for this festival. The distance from Mumbai to Mahad is four to five hours, so after four to five hours, the vehicle stop at Mahad to take a rest and take a break. These Ganesha devotees were given free of cost by the Mahad today. On this occasion, the driver was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. This project was inaugurated by DYSP of Mahad city. It was done by Kale . This time DY. S.P. Kale addressed that this is a very good and commendable initiative of Rotary and encouraged this project. To make this project successful, Project Chairman Ro. Tushar Butala and Ro. Treasurer Omkar Chande contributed to the initiative of Rotary Club by serving in their respective shops.
