Rotary Club of Mahad conducted a cleanliness drive on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The postmortem room was constructed near the government hospital by the Rotary Club of Mahad in the year 2003. The room is located at the back side of the hospital. During the monsoons, there is a lot of grass and it is difficult for people to reach this room. After seeing that the dirt is the kingdom, the Rotary Club of Mahad decided to conduct a cleanup campaign by doing a direct inspection. Sachin Sukale saw the work of this project. At 9:30 in the morning, Rotary members came to the actual place and within two hours, all the side areas of the post-mortem room were cleaned and all the trees and bushes were cut and cleaned. At this time the project chairman Rtn. Sachin Sukale provided tea, coffee and breakfast to all the members for fellowship.
